Tartan Terrors in St. Catherines

I have been going to see the Tartan Terrors for at least half their thirty years. Often two or three times per year, sometimes four or five times. To me, it is like visiting the extended family. It is like having “adopted children”, much like my mother used to say about all the people she loved.

The two youngest Pride of Stewart Dancers stole the show.

This is the Band’s thirtieth anniversary, and they have had a great run with many fine musicians. I am biased, but I think the Latest show in St Catherines was one of their finest. Congratulations, one and all.

The band was accompanied by Dana Robitaille’s Pride of Stewart Highland Dancers, who also put on one of their finest shows. I am biased because I have seen these dancers on numerous occasions, and many of them are champions.

This website's format is challenging, and videos consume a lot of resources. I have included a link to their website below. Stay tuned for music videos being posted on my YouTube Channel.

Chris, my son, is a vocalist who also plays the acoustic guitar and the bodhrán. He wrote one a fun song, “Kiss My Ass,” and a genuine love song, “Dancing in the Moonlight.” My favourite song remains “Sailing Home,” which he composed with his cousin Adam. That song has transcended ordinary music for me - when Chris finally recorded it, it was while my father was ill in the hospital. It was the last song he heard. Since then, it has become the song played in honour of those who have passed on. It is always moving to hear that song. the most fun so

Ian Irmisch, the original, whose family started the band 30 years ago, is on the Bohdran and Emcee.

Peter McArthuthur - Bagpipes, Whistle and Vocals

Charlie McKittrick - Drums and vocals

Phil Hood - Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar and Vocals

Jake Saenz - Bass Guitar and Vocals

Chris Kerba - Acoustic Guitar, Bohdran and Vocals

The young ladies from the Pride of Stewart have become so familiar with this song that they recorded it during one of their trips home. The band realized how much fun they had with it; this time, they invited Jillian to sing the song in front of 600 people! Way to go, Jillian. We are so proud of you.

Highland dancer extraordinaire, Jillian, is singing with the band.

The Terrors put on a fun show, and its because they genuinely have fun on the stage.

Does this remind you of another drummer from the Muppets
