Dance is one of the purest expressions of motion, emotion, and artistry, making it a natural subject for my continuing study of light and movement. As a photographer, my goal is not simply to record a performance, but to capture the essence of dance—the fleeting moments of grace, power, rhythm, and emotion that exist between one movement and the next. Whether working in colour or black and white, I am drawn to the interplay of light, form, and motion that gives each dance its unique character.

The year 2026 marks an exciting new chapter in that journey. It represents my first opportunity to intentionally pursue and showcase dance photography as a dedicated area of focus. Through this portfolio, I hope to illustrate both my current work and my aspirations to photograph as many forms of dance as possible—from classical ballet to contemporary, cultural, social, and competitive dance. My aim is to create images that celebrate not only the technical skill of the performers but also the spirit and energy that make dance such a compelling art form. I am actively seeking opportunities to work with dancers, schools, companies, and performance groups who share a passion for bringing movement to life through photography.
