Cairo

An emotional day today. St George church

Jam packed day, I need time to reflect - it’s hitting home now, I’m back in my ancestral home. Make no doubt about, I’m a very proud Canadian and would not have my life any other way. I love Canada and the more I travel, the more I am convinced that I have won the lottery of countries to live in. I am thankful each and every day about just how blessed I am.

Egypt is still my ancestral home. I was reminded of that when we went to the “Hanging Church”, St George, and family crypt. Then Tahrir Square to visit the Egyptian museum and “Qasr il Nile” bridge.

I’m really tired after this day, so a photo dump it is. Emotional writing needs time, tomorrow is a travel day, I will have some time to reflect and write - AS IN ALL THESE DAYS. THESE ARE JUST A FEW IMAGES TO HIGHLIGHT THE DAY. COME BACK OFTEN, I WILL HAVE MORE TIME TO UPDATE IMAGES.

Maybe even think more globally

Amazing how calm the camels appear in traffic
