Hot Air Balloon ~ Dendera

My third ballooning session. What an amazing experience

Chris and I woke up at 4:00AM for this activity - it was positively a delightful an incredible experience.

Dendera Temple

Nothing but a superlative experience

The Dendera Temple Complex is a massive complex of structures built over a period spanning from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic Period. This complex was built around an Oasis called “Sacred Lake” near the Nile.

• The main temple is the Hathor Temple.

• The Sanatorium - functioned like a Roman bathhouse.

• Basilica

• Gateways of Domitian and Trajan
